Who we are
Innsbruck Greeters is an informal group of private persons. We understand ourselves as part of the International Greeters Association although there is no legal connection between that association and ourselves.

Comments, Requests, Reviews
When visitors leave comments on the site, make a request for a greet or send a review we collect the data shown in the respective form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The data you enter into the form is sent to us via e-mail.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded metadata (Exif/ IPTC / XMP), particularly location information and other sensitive data. We store the pictures as part of the e-mails (see above) and, if you gave your consent, may use them on our website. Visitors to the website then can download and extract any metadata from your images.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

How long we retain your data
We store the e-mail sent to us in the process of any request, review or other comment at our mail-provider’s site on a server located in Europe. We will keep this e-mail as long as it might seem reasonable that we should contact you. You may request the deletion of your e-mails at any time.
What rights you have over your data
At any time you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, including your e-mails and the pictures or other files you sent to us. This does not include any data we are obliged by law to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
