Innsbruck with Rudi

I reached out to Innsbruck Greeters for my parents, who were tagging along on my work trips. Since I had a busy schedule, this was a perfect way for them to meet a local and explore Innsbruck.

Rudi kindly picked them up from their hotel. He was incredibly friendly, spoke flawless English, and tailored the tour to my parents’ interests, taking them to some truly beautiful spots. He shared fascinating insights, and they had a fantastic time.

This was my first time using the Greeter website, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

The best part of our EU trip

I can’t thank Rudi enough for making us fall in love with Innsbruck. Through him, we discovered so much about the city—things no guidebook or blog could ever capture. Rudi took us to hidden gems, shared fascinating stories, and gave us a glimpse into the lives and culture of the people here.

Comparing this experience to the rest of my 15-day trip through Austria and Germany, nothing came close to what we experienced in Innsbruck. Rudi, with his kindness and warmth, inspired us in ways that words can hardly express. I’ve already recommended Innsbruck and the Innsbruck Greeters program to friends, encouraging them to add it to their itinerary. Greeters like Rudi are doing incredible work, and they deserve all the recognition for their dedication.
