Ambras Castle

A beautiful castle on the southern hillside of Innsbruck. Entrance fee, of course. Beautiful halls, peculiar exhibition. World’s oldest museum. Large park (free entrance).
How to get there: Take Bus M, direction Aldrans. Get off at the stop “Schloss Ambras”
You can “do it” in two hours but better plan on spending half a day there.
The Ski Jump

Frequently visitors ask for the ski jump. Both the view from the bottom as well as from the top are breathtaking. Entrance fee.

An alternative for a good view over all of Innsbruck at a much lower price is a visit to the “Hungerburg”. You can get there using a regular bus ticket.
